Lori Herrick Borden

Lori Herrick Borden, MBA, LEED AP is the Energy Management Administrator for the City of Virginia Beach. In this position, Ms. Herrick Borden and her team work to analyze and reduce energy consumption (and its association expenses) and track other critical issues relating to energy

Ms. Herrick Borden is certified by the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED-accredited professional and led the team to certify the Virginia Beach Convention Center as well as the Visitor Information Center.

In addition to VAEEC, Lori is also a Board Member of the Virginia Energy Purchasing Governmental Association (VEPGA).  For more than ten years, Ms. Herrick Borden has been an adjunct business professor for Tidewater Community College.

Ms. Herrick Borden holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University (Ohio) and a Master of Business Administration from Old Dominion University.  Formerly a military policeman, Lori is also a veteran of Operation Desert Storm.
