Energy knowledge starts at home. We have compiled a list of resources to help kids from preschool through high school learn about energy and efficiency through fun and educational activities, games, and jokes.

  • Get Current Coloring Book: Teach kids all about renewable energy and energy conservation through this simple, eight-page coloring book developed by the US Department of Energy. Grades PreK-3.

  • Virginia Energy Sense 3rd Grade Energy Curriculum: Using cross-curricular classroom activities, this curriculum teaches students and parents about energy usage and energy efficiency. “By learning how to conserve energy, sharing those lessons with families and friends, and raising awareness in their communities, students can demonstrate that saving energy means saving money, and ultimately makes Virginia a better place to live.”
