The VAEEC is honored to have been invited by the Office of the Governor to collaborate with the Dept. of Mines, Minerals and Energy and the Dept. of Housing and Community Development on the webinar, Clean Energy Virginia – Energy Efficiency, the first in a series of webinars on the Virginia Clean Economy Act (VCEA). The webinar will be held on July 22nd at 1:00 pm.

The presenters will provide an overview of the goals and objectives of the VCEA, before delving into the specific energy efficiency components of the new law. Attendees will also learn about new opportunities as a result of Virginia recently joining the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI). RGGI is a carbon allowance auction program that will allow for increased support of energy-efficient, affordable housing. The webinar is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
