Virginia’s Energy Plan will be finalized by October 1st, and you have an opportunity to influence what is included.

DMME is tasked with preparing this Energy Plan, which will include projections of energy consumption, analysis of the efficient use of energy resources and conservation initiatives, analysis of whether there is a disproportionate adverse impact on economically disadvantaged or minority communities, and recommendations for legislative, regulatory, and other public and private actions. For this plan to be the most effective and include the most input, DMME is asking for the public to submit comments online by August 24th.
