K.C. Bleile
VAEEC Treasurer | VEIC
K.C. Bleile joined VEIC in the spring of 2024 as Director, Consulting Operations to support VEIC’s growing role as trusted energy efficiency industry partner. VEIC delivers mission impact via utility program administration and consulting projects across our nation.
Bleile holds a master’s degree in Business Management Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University and B.S. degree in Environmental Policy and Planning from Virginia Tech.
Her previous work includes pioneering Virginia’s first green building programs as Viridiant (formerly EarthCraft Virginia) first employee in 2006 and Executive Director through 2024. Under her leadership Viridiant certified nearly 5,000 certified homes, over 400 low income certified multifamily projects, representing 40,000+ dwelling units. Her career began at Southface Energy Institute in Atlanta, Georgia where she became certified by RESNET as a Home Energy Rater and later became a LEED accredited professional through U.S. Green Building Council.
She currently serves as Treasurer of Virginia Energy Efficiency Council Board of Directors. Previous service includes Virginia Governor’s Clean Energy Advisory Board, Virginia Housing Development Authority (VHDA) Multifamily Rental Housing Advisory Board, Virginia Multifamily Energy Efficiency Coalition, Virginia Housing Alliance’s Legislative Committee, Dominion’s Energy Share Advisory Committee, Dominion Data Access Stakeholder, and was a 2020 Leadership Metro Richmond participant.
