Most energy retrofits in commercial buildings focus on lighting and mechanical systems. However, a growing number of building owners, including local governments, seek to improve the thermal performance of existing buildings for asset preservation, occupant comfort, historic preservation, and energy savings. Building envelope commissioning is a relatively new science in new construction and has led to growing appreciation of retrofit opportunities. This webinar is open to VAEEC members only and will explore thermal envelope commissioning and approaches for energy retrofits to building shells.
